The weather is finally feeling nice! What better way to enjoy the weather than joining the UA Election Commission for 2024-2025!

The election commission runs the elections for the UA, MIT’s undergraduate student government. This includes all the class council elections (including the first-year elections in the fall) and UA leadership elections (student body President and Vice President).

Being on the election commission is a few hours of time commitment, twice a year (freshman class council elections, and spring elections for other classes and UA leadership).

However, it is a critical part of the student government and a wonderful *resume builder* (if anyone’s resumes are looking a little sparse for Career Fair next year). Student government / governance experience is not required but would be appreciated.
