TL;DR: UA Food Security is hosting a free bagel grab-and-go breakfast tomorrow, Monday, April 22nd, from 8:30AM to 10:30AM in 10-105!

Hi MIT!

We are the UA Food Security team. We are a committee established in 2023 to increase access to food on campus, whether that be helping you grab food when you're in a rush or affording food around campus. The committee has worked to quantify food insecurity and work on new initiatives that solve students' most pressing food related challenges.

To accomplish this, we are thinking of working on a few initiatives, such as raising awareness of existing resources and possibly placing accessible pantries around campus. We also hope to host a few free food events for students. We want to implement initiatives based on student feedback!

We will be having our first free bagel event on Monday, April 22nd from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM! Stop by Bush Room (10-105, right by Lobby 10) to grab bagels and a few other breakfast items on your way to your first class of the day. During the event, we'd love to hear about what you'd like to see regarding improvements to food security on campus.
