Dear Undergraduates,

The Student Sustainability Coalition (SSC) and the Undergraduate
Association (UA) are seeking an undergraduate student involved with
sustainability at MIT to become the next undergraduate co-lead of the SSC
and a student representative on the Climate Nucleus. This is planned to be
a paid hourly part-time position for the remainder of the 2024 calendar
year. Below is a short description as to what this position entails, as
well as a link to a document further detailing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

   -

   Representation: serve as a neutral liaison between sustainability
   groups, administration, and departments, labs, and centers (DLCs) on campus
   -

   Convening: organize bi-annual convenings of student sustainability
   leaders
   -

   Input: serve as a student representative at MIT Climate Nucleus meetings
   and maintain open channels of communication with the Nucleus
   -

   Outreach: may help organize and host an annual Sustainability Midway in
   September; collaborate with student groups and DLCs to publicize
   sustainability-related events and opportunities
   -

   Internal Responsibilities: regular communication between leads,
   representing the Coalition publicly

Eligibility:

   -

   Must have completed at least one semester at MIT
   -

   Must be able to commit 5-10 hours per week
   -

   Demonstrated interest and involvement in MIT’s sustainability space
