Hello, MIT undergraduates!

The 2024 UA Elections will be open for voting from 8 am Mon, Mar 18 to 5 pm
Fri, Mar 22.

There will be two referendum questions on the ballot, plus candidates
running for the 2025 and 2026 Class Councils and for UA President and Vice
President. Please see this file

We've added the text shown below to each referendum on the ballot to
address some frequently asked questions. Both referenda are optional. If
you choose to vote on a referendum, the possible votes are YES, NO, and
ABSTAIN. If you vote for any of these three options, your vote will count
toward the 20% threshold to make the results binding on the UA.

The referendum's full text is attached. Please thoroughly read through it
before voting. If at least 20% of undergraduates vote on THIS referendum
item, this referendum will be binding on the UA. If you want this
referendum to be binding, but do not want to vote either YES or NO, please
vote ABSTAIN. ABSTAIN votes will count towards the 20% threshold.


The following positions do not have official candidates, and we request
that you write in candidates who you think would be a good fit for these
positions.
