TL;DR: Tomorrow, February 24th is one year of full-scale war in Ukraine. Stop by Lobby 13 from 12-3pm today for Boba, Babka, Pizza and more at the food fundraiser for Ukraine.

Hi Undergraduates,

To mark one year since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine at MIT and the UA have partnered to hold a food fundraiser in Lobby 13 from 12pm - 3pm today! Stop by for Boba, Babka, Pizza and more!

We will be selling boba from TeaDo, babka from Bakey’s babka, pizza from Za’s, desserts from Solodko Bakery, pies from Oath pizza, and more! Stop by to get lunch, learn more about the war in Ukraine, the work Ukraine at MIT has been doing and how you can help. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Mriya, a Boston-based nonprofit run by Sashko Horokh ‘25 and their friends. Mriya purchases medical supplies and basic necessities such as tourniquets, hand warmers, and bandages, and transports it to Ukraine to support victims of the invasion.
