SwipeShare
The UA is working with several groups and offices to promote food security on campus. We are striving to ensure that no MIT student goes hungry due to lack of money or resources and that students feel comfortable asking for help<https://doingwell.mit.edu/support-3/> when necessary. Please read information about the different food and dining resources available here<https://studentlife.mit.edu/dining/food-dining-resources>.
The SwipeShare program allows anyone with a meal plan to donate<https://mycard.mit.edu/student/local_donate.php> meals to help students in need. If you have the ‘Any 19’ meal plan you can donate<https://mycard.mit.edu/student/local_donate.php> up to 6 ‘Guest Meals’ per semester or, if you have a Block meal plan, you may donate<https://mycard.mit.edu/student/local_donate.php> up to 6 of your regular meal swipes.
Please consider donating<https://mycard.mit.edu/student/local_donate.php> to SwipeShare before the end of the semester if you are able to. To receive meal swipes complete the Meal Request Form<https://studentlife.mit.edu/s3/money-food-resources/food-resources/meal-request-form> or talk to a Dean in S3. Additionally, explore other ways to take care of yourself at doingwell.mit.edu<http://doingwell.mit.edu/>.

MIT Corporation Nomination
Serving on the MIT Corporation is one of the best ways to give back to MIT and contribute to a better world, and help MIT continue as a leader in advancing knowledge and striving for a more equal and equitable world.
Each year, one recent MIT graduate is elected to the MIT Corporation<http://emclick.imodules.com/ls/click?upn=TVHzVwLx9Leyz-2Bq1gvrJU-2BBeSsDiwi2kw3Dg0hhBw5KwLw-2FDbav1k0Wk-2BLEwPO-2BF5hpBvwKxUNg2X5KYC8H81NDUS-2BrfUEAZvsQpxtQiN35XPyvstgx4knBop6KpSzkh_NaQ_WVyUxl-2BjCYdhtpjG-2B0BlfPbYS2C0ffEfqytAUwdMR8HF9qIY3JnFRK97iIyQi65l8fxOoB1nDoFXYTqseZW1Gq4w5odq7H6lt75lGLlwItoAKxYwVR0BfA6bkHr-2Fnt-2B9zjLiI-2Fkn5jCmLuGF8IyGQzm39eXoLVvoSpilp-2BsG2Nne4punV7x0Ur6NxmyVLduQpa1AV5bLZW3xwXWoH5KrFAEMgoZIhFmCMStQoismjecNqSfS-2FkSGN2o-2Bc4DVHQNMSSmZYtkoT79ycZpcnIvD-2FtdhPqbEP7KXvBzZDQ4udZRSLeDthUBadpkp1bKVmDdUvYtE1rStR18w8l7JQjUjgO-2Bz23GIa95oQHbO7MhGZ0QAJFZOViHZJZdAvk0tuEdjWDB3e-2FB4SlXkixMo-2BhXrzkcdA4-2F2IdwfotR87qJVDM-2FHMYpyEwBbNXEuRL3pXyoQR4h-2Bo84UJELywBJ0kpWnbLTpMUnCdwM5UgnRfPf2YfMmFNis60uzlKlSNuZ18VAT8jvDOkNUj30We0-2BytfuxDXq6uBQ8NSSiiRzEokE4me0-3D>, the Institute’s board of trustees, and you are invited to nominate yourself or put forth an eligible classmate. MIT Climate Clock Survey
The first city to display a climate clock, was N.Y. City, beginning in Sept. 2020 (at the request of Greta Thunberg!) Since then, there have been several other urban climate clocks in Glasgow, Seoul, Paris and Berlin. We believe the MIT Climate Clock is the first University climate clock in the world. Our mission is to educate students and the general public and we would like to spread climate clocks around the USA and the world.
The MIT Climate Clock is a D-Lab project. Our team has been projecting our climate clock on different faces of the Green Building (54) at night for short-term time periods with permission from the MIT Administration since Earth Day 2021. We are not a hack, because have we always wanted this projection to be long-term. The MIT Climate Nucleus, responsible for making that decision, is not opposed to the idea, but would like to see MIT community-wide input to the process, not just follow ideas of one small team. We agree! Specifically, the Climate Nucleus is interested in whether or not a “Deadline” is helpful or not to the climate change message, and if not, what should be the main climate message? To that end, our MIT Climate Clock team has come up with a 3-4 minute survey with this QR code.
We greatly appreciate your taking the survey and sharing your thoughts!

MIT Secular Society Talk
Author Jonathan MS Pearce tackles the common idea of God — what he calls "OmniGod". The talk details how characteristics of being all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving create so many problems and inconsistencies that the belief in OmniGod — an idea held by many in the world — is unjustified. Heaven and Hell are two of the most powerful motivators for belief in this kind of God, but both ideas are rendered incoherent in this wide-ranging 10th subject talk of the Secular Society of MIT's Course 0 series.
