Hi everyone!

This is a reminder that UA Committee Applications close this Friday (today) at 11:59 PM!

If you are excited about making a change on campus and working to improve student life then we highly encourage you to apply to join a committee! As you may have seen on our UA Instagram (@ua_mit<https://www.instagram.com/ua_mit/>) and in your inboxes over the course of the week, we have 9 active committees that are excited to work with you on projects that you are passionate about!

You can learn more about these committees on our website<http://ua.mit.edu/committees> or at our UA pop-up today on the first floor of the Student Center from 12 - 2 PM! Stop by to chat with us about the UA, any projects you’d like to see implemented, or any ideas you have for improving student life (and grab an insomnia cookie while we’re talking)!

In addition to recruiting for our committees, the UA is also looking for people to join the Election Commission! The purpose of the Election Commission is to govern the election of the Undergraduate Association President and Vice-President, Class Officers, and any other positions for which the Undergraduate Association Council mandates a democratic, campus-wide election. For more information, please feel free to view the Election Code <https://static1.squarespace.com/static/564142efe4b09d10c39f8a8f/t/61d61e3fed235e1063f72664/1641422399803/Election_Code_.pdf> on the UA’s website.

If you are interested in joining a committee, please apply here<http://ua.mit.edu/recruitment> and reach out to ua-officers at mit.edu<mailto:ua-officers at mit.edu> if you have any questions. Also, if you are interested in joining the Election Commission, please reach out to ua-officers at mit.edu<mailto:ua-officers at mit.edu> directly. Thank you and we look forward to receiving your applications!
