Levain Cookies in the UA Zoom Rooms Today at 4:30PM!

Hello everybody!!

Happy last day of classes! Just wanted to highlight an awesome initiative that the UA brought to life over the past semester: Zoom Rooms! Today, to celebrate the last day of classes and to celebrate the space, we'll be giving away free cookies from Levain Bakery in one of our Zoom Rooms: W20-106 at 4:30PM. Make sure to drop by after your last classes of the semester, check out the space, and get a cookie (picture at the bottom because they are literally beautiful), woohoo!

As you all may know, in this new hybrid world, searching for a place to take a Zoom call on campus can be quite the struggle. Classrooms always seem to be taken and next thing you know, you're taking a Zoom call in the quietest stairwell you can find. Well, look no further! Over the past few months, Shruti Ravikumar, incoming UA Vice President, has been leading the charge and working with the Division of Student Life to bring Zoom Rooms to life. Last month, we soft launched these rooms in the Student Center in rooms W20-106 and W20-027 and have loved getting to see people use them throughout the days.

As a reminder, you are welcome into these spaces at any point that they're open, though the cookies will just be there at 4:30. Also, in using the space in the coming weeks, be mindful that people will be coming in and out taking Zoom calls through the day, so try not to hang out with your friends in there; that's what Stud 5 is for!

Zoom Rooms is just one of the incredible initiatives we have been able to bring to life this year within the UA. As the school year wraps up and as Danielle and I finish our term, we just wanted to express how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to lead the UA with such an incredible team. The impact we have made with initiatives such as Zoom Rooms is just a testament to the hard work and care our student leaders bring every day. Look out for our UA End of Year Report soon to learn more about what we have been working on over the past year and the impact we have been able to make.
