Institute Committees vote on every facet of student life and policy. Alongside faculty and administrators, Institute Committee representatives have worked on the biggest issues at MIT, including the Flex PNR grading experiment<https://registrar.mit.edu/classes-grades-evaluations/grades/grading-policies/flexible-pnr-grading-option>, the SAT Subject Test Requirement<https://thetech.com/2021/04/15/2021-22-sat-act-suspended#:~:text=MIT%20suspended%20its%20SAT%20subject,College%20Board%20in%20January%202021.> and the DEI Strategic Action Plan<https://deiactionplan.mit.edu/>. From the Committee on Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid to the Committee on Race and Diversity, there are 29 Institute Committees, spanning the gamut when it comes to decision-making at MIT. You are bound to find a committee you’re interested in and can read more about them here<http://ua.mit.edu/institutecomms>.
