Dear Undergraduates,

In response to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the UA and the MIT Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble have partnered to host Nightmarket for Ukraine, a community festival to fundraise for local humanitarian aid in Ukraine, this Sunday, April 3rd 7-10 PM in Walker Memorial Hall. Along with being able to donate and support the Ukrainian people directly, the event will be jam-packed with student performances, delicious Ukrainian food, and a number of games and opportunities to learn about Ukrainian culture. Come together as one MIT on Sunday to eat, laugh, and dance with us in solidarity.

Nightmarket for Ukraine will feature:

  *   Authentic Ukrainian dishes (vegetarian and vegan options available)

  *   15+ performances by dance, a capella, and performance groups from MIT and Berklee College of Music

  *   Games and activities celebrating Ukrainian culture

  *   Informational and craft booths regarding the war and ways you can help

Food vouchers are an additional $1 each (food items are only $4-6 each), and event tickets will be available at the door for $10. All proceeds will be donated to a Mightycause fundraiser<https://www.mightycause.com/story/Supportukrainedirect> started by Ukraine at MIT for a collection of small humanitarian aid organizations and volunteers local to Ukraine.
