Dear Undergrads,

You may have noticed that campaigning season has begun this past Monday, March 28 — campaigning will continue until the end of the election season on Tuesday,  April 5.


Voting begins tomorrow -- an email will be sent at 10:00AM EST tomorrow morning so you can access the link.

UA PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

The debate for the UA P/VP tickets is on Monday, April 4th at 8:30pm in the Student Center Lobby. Elected UA leaders make decisions on your behalf. Make sure the candidates are thinking about the things you care about by showing up and asking questions.

REFERENDUM QUESTIONS
There are three (3) referenda that will be on the ballot this year. Students have worked hard to have this on the ballot so please read below. You can respond to all questions with No / Yes / Abstain (skip).

Proposed Question 1:

"Should MIT disclose the entire holdings of MIT’s endowment investments, including specific funds/companies, to MIT community members on an annual basis?"


Proposed Question 2:

"Should MIT divest from the fossil fuel industry, defined as any company or entity whose primary business is the sourcing, extraction, production, and/or transportation of fossil fuels (coal, oil, or natural gas)?"


Proposed Question 3:

"Should MIT institute a standing committee with equal representation among undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, and faculty to establish and enforce assessable ethical investing guidelines?"
