Hello Undergrads,

We hope you’ve all had a safe and relaxing break. The Undergraduate Association is looking for a new Chief of Staff for Spring 2022 and we hope that you will consider applying!

As the UA, we are the front line for many of the issues facing students and serve as chief representatives of the student body to the MIT administration. The Chief of Staff helps to complete the UA Officer Team which leads the entire student government.

Our vision for MIT requires passionate leaders who are prepared to push the boundaries and challenge the status quo. In addition to specific responsibilities specified by the respective roles, each officer will contribute to greater policy initiatives defined by the Team. Being on the Officer Team provides the unique opportunity to improve MIT through collaboration with other students, administration, faculty, staff, and the Corporation.

As Chief of Staff, you will learn more about how MIT’s student government works, interact with senior administration directly, and grow your skills as a leader and manager.
