MIT Science Policy Initiative Executive Visit Days (ExVD) Application
When: Applications <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe-mwHaJzACyHNvsK_otxKi99owQuKdFQ3WOiweXkIUSXd4QQ/viewform> due 9/25, ExVD 10/26-10/30
Contacts: Max Langenkamp, ExVD Director, maxnz at mit.edu <mailto:maxnz at mit.edu>, or the SPI Executive Board, spi-exec at mit.edu <mailto:spi-exec at mit.edu>

Are you curious about a career in policy?
The MIT Science Policy Initiative (SPI) will be coordinating the 2020 Executive Visit Days (ExVD) on October 26th — October 30th, 2020. This is the tenth year SPI has run ExVD. The program's aim is to explore the role of the federal government in science, engineering, technology, and innovation. This is a great opportunity to network with like-minded peers and learn about career paths in government and think tanks.

We will meet virtually with a number of executive agencies in Washington, D.C. to discuss science and technology policy. Past speakers have included the president’s science advisor, as well as officials from the Department of Energy, National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, NASA, and others.

This year, the entire event will be virtual. Instead of meeting in person, we will have video conversations over the course of five days. After the application deadline, we will take everybody's preferences into account and match people to the most relevant meetings.

Apply now <https://forms.gle/gNyBU9i46YRrAi4L9>; the application shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes, so try to fill it out ASAP as space is limited! The trip is open to all MIT undergraduates, graduate students, and post-docs.
