Hi Undergrads,

Congrats on finishing Spring semester classes, and good luck with finals
next week!

Thank you to everyone in the MIT community who participated in the AAU
Sexual Misconduct survey! More than 2,100 MIT undergraduates and 2,500
graduate students responded - more than 40% overall - with good
representation from each of MIT's five schools. Findings from MIT's survey
and AAU aggregate results will be available in early Fall 2019.

As a reminder, the faculty recently approved the proposal to update MIT’s
academic calendar and commencement timing starting with the 2019-2020
academic year. More information can be found here:

Have a fantastic summer!

After weeks of data gathering and months of on-campus analysis, the
students will be presenting their work to the MIT Community. Projects will
focus on meteorology, atmospheric composition and the effect that the 2018
eruption had on plant life on the island. Presentations will begin at 1 pm,
but please join us at 12:30 for a light lunch and the opportunity to chat
with the student presenters. Please RSVP here: bit.ly/2DtSzeV.

*Digital Diplomas*
The Registrar’s Office recently launched Digital Diplomas @ MIT, which
gives students the option of receiving a digital version of their
credential in addition to the traditional paper diploma. All graduating
students are eligible to receive a digital version of their diploma at no
cost. Look out for an email from the Registrar’s Office inviting you to
download the Blockcerts Wallet app on your mobile device and add MIT as an
issuer. You must complete these steps before Commencement to ensure that
you receive your digital diploma as soon as it is available. Learn more here
