Banana Lounge anniversary today

Dear undergrads,

Today we are celebrating the one year anniversary of Banana Lounge (26-110). Come through for chocolate-coated frozen bananas, banana bread, banana plant naming competition, and a banana box hackathon.

It was just over a year ago that Banana Lounge began; nothing more than a five-day experiment to improve space on campus; to try and create a little happy place for students to work, nap, play, run into friends, chat, and to collaborate on wild projects.

100,000 student visits and more than 60,000 bananas served later, we couldn't be more excited about the space-and the future.

Join us in celebrating the joy the space has brought to many and to recognize all who made it happen.
