SpringFEST feat. 6LACK with Solstice Fayemz is Friday, April 26th at 7:00
PM in the Johnson Ice Rink. Early bird tickets are only $5, and can be
purchased at tickets.mit.edu.
Help MIT prevent and respond to sexual misconduct by taking the 2019 AAU
Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Misconduct until May 1st. Watch your emails

MIT, I Messed Up (MIMU) is an event hosted by UA Community & Diversity and
all four class councils, meant to bring students across campus together to
celebrate our failures, mistakes, and misfortunes. The goal of MIMU is to
show students that failure is common among us, in a genuine, relaxed and
encouraging way. This year, MIMU will be held on April 30th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
on Kresge Lawn. The evening will be primarily comprised of stories shared
by students, with food and performances from different campus groups
interspersed throughout the event.

Join us for "Memento Mori", a Thomistic Institute talk by Sr. Theresa
Aletheia Noble. She is a former atheist who, a few years after returning to
the Church, left her job in Silicon Valley to join the Daughters of St.
Paul. She is the founder of the Memento Mori project and author of The
Prodigal You Love: Inviting Loved Ones Back to the Church. Join us to learn
about why death is something we should look forward to! Check her out on

An extended dialogue among local and visiting panelists with diverse
individual perspectives on and approaches to Islam. Eman Akam, a
Sudanese-origin HMS/MGH post-doc, will speak about implicit bias and
women's status in Islam. Said Benjebli, an influential Moroccan-born
activist with an Islamic studies degree, will speak about the dynamics of
Islamic extremism. Ibrahim Abdallah, co-founder and National City Organizer
of Muslimish, will speak about practical activism to unite secular Muslims
and former Muslims over common goals.
