*Vol. 3 Issue 24 April 23, 2018*
Hi Undergrads,
This weekend the Murals of Senior Haus exhibit opened. Presented on campus
in the Wiesner Student Art Gallery, the exhibit (running April 21- May 7)
includes scaled and full-size prints of murals and an interactive VR
experience. There are also painted doors from the dorm, historical photos
from the MIT archives, and other works of art from former and current
residents.
Next Tuesday is MIT I Messed Up, an event hosted by UA Community &
Diversity and all four class councils. MIMU is meant to bring students
across campus together to celebrate our failures, mistakes, and
misfortunes. The goal of MIMU is to show students that failure is common
among us, in a genuine, relaxed and encouraging way.

MIT Addir Interfaith presents acclaimed author and notable MIT personality
Alan Lightman who will discuss his newest book Searching for Stars on an
Island in Maine. This lyrical meditation on religion and science explores
the tension between our yearning for permanence and certainty, in a
material world that science shows to be impermanent and uncertain. Followed
by refreshments and book signing with Alan Lightman. Books will be
available at a discounted price!

Considered by many to be the most charming musical ever, She Loves Me is a
warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old world
elegance. Set in a 1930s European perfumery, we meet shop clerks, Amalia
and Georg, who often don't see eye to eye. After both respond to a "lonely
hearts advertisement" in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters
that they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains unknown.
Join us to discover the identity of their true loves...and for all the
twists and turns along the way!
