[UA] DACA Phone Bank

Hello Undergrads,

I hope your week is starting off great! Recently, Congress failed to pass a permanent solution for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which the White House decided to end last year. As many of you already know, there are DACA recipients within the undergraduate body. I am writing you today to let you know that the UA is organizing a phone bank for undergraduates to be able to call their Congressmen and local representatives to express their opinions on DACA and any other issues. The phone bank will be held on this Thursday, March 15th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 1-136! Snacks and scripts will be made available. Calling your representatives only takes a couple of minutes and is an important part of the democratic process, so I hope you consider coming.
