MIT Music and Theater Arts presents Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.
Directed by Anna Kohler and performed by student actors from MIT. Branden
Jacobs-Jenkins' 201k play, "Everybody," follows the stages of man as
he/she/us moves away from original sin--and pride and avarice--to
acceptance and love, but not without its share of laughter and fun. A
morality tale with laughs, "Everybody" tells us who we are as we become who
we are meant to be.

Welcome to Elsinore, a city of stiff machismo and military pride, ruled
over by the gruff but decisive Claudius and his former sister-in-law,
Gertrude. To Hamlet, this is not her world. But when the ghost of her
father appears to Hamlet and reveals Claudius as his killer, Hamlet
tempestuously vows revenge. But how will she do it? Can this bookish and
emotional grad student overthrow a regime? This take on Hamlet looks at the
limits of our convictions, and how much we can really manage to change a
society. Tickets are FREE for MIT students! Hamlet is funded by LEF.
