MIT Music and Theater Arts presents Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.
Directed by Anna Kohler and performed by student actors from MIT. Branden
Jacobs-Jenkins' 201k play, "Everybody," follows the stages of man as
he/she/us moves away from original sin--and pride and avarice--to
acceptance and love, but not without its share of laughter and fun. A
morality tale with laughs, "Everybody" tells us who we are as we become who
we are meant to be.

The advent of quantum mechanics a century ago overturned the deterministic
assumptions of classical physics and seemed to put randomness and
uncertainty at its core. Neither the determinism of the old paradigm nor
the randomness of the new one seem conducive to the ancient idea of free
will. What exactly is free will and does physics, of any stripe, leave any
more room for it? This talk is a continuation of a series featuring the
Thomistic Institute, which is devoted to strengthening the intellectual
formation of Christians. There will be refreshments following the talk.
