[UA] Committee Applications, FallFest

Dear Undergrads,

Happy hump day! A couple quick reminders as we finish this second week:

1. UA Committee Applications are open till this Friday (9/15). If you are interested in becoming involved in the UA through one of our 18 wonderful committees, fill out the application here <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1LC2hqFqHsxgffmRsB_2zVGUa0mSMROngs8J5PUGE134/viewform?edit_requested=true>! Stop by Lobby 10 or the Student Center if you have any questions about specific committees or the UA in general.

2. The UA and Peer Ears are hosting a study break today (Wednesday) in W20-400 in support of those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. If you or any loved ones have been affected by these disasters, please don’t hesitate to use these resources <http://resources.mit.edu/resources/personal-support-and-wellness/all>.

3. UA Events in collaboration with the Student Activities Office presents FallFest 2017! This year’s artist is Hasan Minhaj - a comedian, actor, host, and writer. He is a former Daily Show correspondent and recently had the prestigious honor of hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner. Minhaj’s recently released on Netflix comedy special HOMECOMING KING has been meet with critical acclaim and reviews. We are so excited to have him at the MIT campus!
