Dear Undergraduates,

The deadline for submitting feedback to the Study Group on Algorithmic
Reasoning and Computational Thinking is fast approaching (*Wednesday, 10/26*).
The study group investigated what "algorithmic reasoning" and
"computational thinking" mean to different groups across the Institute and
evaluated ways that a new undergraduate requirement might be implemented.
You can read their draft report here
<http://due.mit.edu/sites/default/files/computational_thinking_requirement_draft_9-28-16.pdf>
and
send questions or feedback to computation-study-group at mit.edu.

The study group really values hearing from students, and every comment will
be read. Your feedback will be incorporated into their final report.
Reforming requirements takes a long time, so keep in mind that the changes
will almost certainly not take effect while you are an undergraduate at
MIT.

Thank you for your efforts to make MIT better for future undergrads!

Best,
MJ Porzenheim & Lisa Ho
UA Education Chairs
