Tl;dr-Apply to the Election Commission or DSL Domestic Travel Policy Review committee here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScjPsk53rxQuDA1aWmMpJrCAA9ZCpZ6Q6qU52RA5_WAtWY9zg/viewform>, and register to vote<http://votereg.scripts.mit.edu/>!
Hi Undergrads,
Hope you are enjoying the wonderful Friday weather! You can make your day even better by registering to vote in the Student Center today from 9am-7pm-they can help you register to vote in any state, get and send an absentee ballot, or give you stamps to go! Here<http://votereg.scripts.mit.edu/> is a new website from MIT for all your voting questions.
Speaking of doing your civic duty, we have even more opportunities to get involved in student life at MIT! The UA is currently looking for Election Commission Members and representatives for a committee reviewing the Division of Student Life Domestic Travel Policy.
The Election Commission is responsible for supervising all undergraduate elections. More information on the commission can be found here<http://web.mit.edu/ua/governing-docs/election-code.pdf>, in the UA election code.
The DSL Domestic Travel Policy Review Committee will be reviewing and making recommendations on the current DSL travel policy for student groups. This will consist of 2-3 lunches with stakeholders, discussing the current travel policy and revisions which could be made. Student group leaders are especially encouraged to apply!
Both of these applications can be found here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScjPsk53rxQuDA1aWmMpJrCAA9ZCpZ6Q6qU52RA5_WAtWY9zg/viewform>, and are due Tuesday, October 11th at midnight! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email me at ua-chief at mit.edu<mailto:ua-chief at mit.edu>.
Have a great long weekend!
Best,
Kyle Archer
UA Chief of Staff
