Hello Undergraduates,
I hope you are all doing well this week! It's been really wonderful getting
back to campus, resuming my role serving as your president, and seeing
everyone again. MIT truly feels like a home :). Thank you all for your kind
support, and Daysi for holding down the fort and being an incredible
leader!
*Aah! MIT is starting to stress me out! *
As we begin midterms and perhaps begin to get lost in the intensity of MIT,
I'd like to remind you we are one community. Don't be afraid to drop that
extra class or try a new support resource on campus -- your happiness and
health should come first! We will be emailing out a *general resources
email* for you to review what's available to you, and you are always
welcome to come to the UA Office in the Student Center (W20-401) and hang
out. (Pro Tip: Let's Chat is a great service if you just want to try out a
short conversation; I popped in next day, and it can be really helpful to
talk to someone!)
*Where's the Byte?*
For those of you new to the campus, *the Byte *was started last year as a
weekly email to capture the events going on around campus every week, so
that we could all try new things and meet more people. It will be *resuming
next week*, organized by the UA Secretary, Alexa Martin, and in the past
has included video clips from President Reif, interesting pieces of MIT
history, and ways to get involved. *Submit your events to be featured on
the Byte for the week of October 3rd here!

*What other cool things are happening?*
On Thursday, we will be holding an *Office Hours session with the young
alumni of the MIT Corporation, or the governing body of MIT, and the
Graduate Student Council.* Feel free to drop by 8-219 from 6-7 PM this
Thursday, September 29th to discuss any questions you have about MIT. Pizza
will be provided!
Last, this year, *MIT has been invited to the 16th Annual Ivy Leadership
Summit,* hosted at Yale. See the end of this email to apply by October 1st!
Daysi and I will be in attendance, along with several other student leaders
on campus!
Warm wishes (especially because it's starting to get chilly out there...),
