Hi Undergrads!

Chancellor's Advisory Council

The Chancellor's Advisory Council is a newly formed group which seeks to connect the Chancellor's office with students who are committed to the issues the Chancellor and the Deans are working on. They are looking for students who may currently be engaged in student government or other student organizations, as well as students in roles that many administrators may not get to view.

New Engineering Education Transformation (NEET) Program

The NEET working group is made up of staff and faculty from the Department of Engineering, and was created in order to develop a program will build on the established principles of MIT, and address a need for a focus on new machines and systems, (e.g. internet of things, bio-devices, infrastructure and the environment) via a balanced approach to analysis and synthesis and foundation in modern engineering pedagogical approaches.

They have requested undergraduate representatives for two the their working sessions, listed below:

*       Workshop #1: Friday, September 23rd, from 2:00-5:00 pm, followed by dinner.

*       Workshop #2: Tuesday, October 11th, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES)

The Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects is an institute committee of both faculty and staff which is responsible for reviewing every research project utilizing humans as research subjects, and for devising effective procedures to ensure the adequate review of all protocols.
