Hello Undergraduates,

I hope you are all excited for an eventful week! On Thursday, the UA is
hosting MIT I Messed Up, and on Friday we have SpringFest. This weekend is
also Senior House's Steer Roast! Be sure to enjoy the weather and the sun
by taking a break in the weeks leading up to finals :)!

----

*Interesting piece of history of the week *from our UA History Chair, Alexander
Sludds (ua-history at mit.edu; add yourself to the
ua-history-interest at mit.edu mailing
list here <https://groups.mit.edu/webmoira/list/ua-history-interest> if
you'd like to receive more):

*"The 2002 UA Presidential election ran as usual for MIT, except for one
small hiccup in the election process. Rhett Creighton '02 and Victor Brar
'04 ran for write-in candidacy of UA President and Vice President
respectively. The one thing that makes their platform incredibly different
was their "Sell Your Votes!" campaign. If elected President and Vice
President of the UA they planned to distribute $10 to the first 500 people
who voted to them from $5000 in funds accessible to the UA President. *
