The UA Committee on Education is pleased to announce that we are offering
an alternative to the student/faculty dinner program
<http://ua.mit.edu/projects/student-faculty-dinners/>- starting now, you
may also take faculty out for coffee! We hope to increase student/faculty
interactions by offering more settings in which to meet.

The UA will reimburse up to $7.50 per person for you to take faculty
members out to coffee. We request that you bring no more than three
students per faculty member, in order to ensure that everyone can interact
meaningfully. MIT does not reimburse for tax, so you will need to use
a tax-exempt
form
<https://vpf.mit.edu/site/content/download/1812/6428/file/taxexempt_st2.pdf>
.

The student/faculty dinner program will continue unchanged. Currently,
students may choose to participate in a student/faculty dinner or a
student/faculty dinner once per semester while funding lasts. Please
register your coffee just as you would register a dinner using this form

Thoughts about more ways to improve student/faculty interactions?
