*3) Commentary*

- *Next House* is currently in the lead of the electricity-saving
competition, with a *27% decrease*in electricity usage! Did some laundry
machines break or are they actually making an effort?Only time shall tell!

- *EC* is in second place in the electricity-saving standings, and they are
also in fourth in the spirit point competition, with *0.6 points per capita*!
They had a very high turnout at the kickoff, possibly due to a zeal for
free burritos.

- *WILG* is dominating the spirit point competition so far with *2.2 points
per capita*! They were awesome at the Green Building Challenge, running up
and down a collective total of 32 times! Wow, if you had taken the elevator
that many times you would have released the amount of CO2 emitted from
burning a gallon of gasoline!

- *McCormick* has started a pikachu pledge: pledging to save electricity
and taking a picture with a stuffed pikachu for motivation! The McCormick
electricity meter is unfortunately broken, but hopefully that will be fixed
soon (that's why we had no data for McCormick this week).

- Last week's theme was *Personal Energy Savings*, and you may have noticed
this public display in the student center:
- This week's theme is *Waste Awareness!* Keep an eye out for a display
involving lots of paper in the student center!

- AND attend our *Documentary Screening* on *3/9 7-9pm*, Location TBD!
