Undergraduates,

An opportunity has arisen to become one of two undergraduate members on the
judging committee for the Compton-Stewart Award Selection Committee. To

The Compton-Stewart Award Selection Committee reviews nominees for
both the Compton
Prizes <http://awards.mit.edu/compton> and the William L. Stewart Award
<http://awards.mit.edu/stewart>. Each year, the committee awards 1-3 for
undergraduate students and 1-3 for graduate Stewart awards. The committee
typically consists of faculty members as well as undergraduate and graduate
representatives. As a member of the judging committee you will be essential
in screening potential candidates - in addition the time commitment is
expected to be minimal as the full committee will likely only meet once
during the last week of March. You are encouraged to apply even if you have
little prior experience.

All applications submitted before *next Thursday, March 3 at 11:59 pm* will
be considered, after which the application form will be closed. After
initial application review, select undergraduates will be notified for
interviews with the nominations board. If you have any questions about this
