[UA Elections] Packets for Candidacy

Dear Undergraduates,

It is my pleasure to announce the beginning of Undergraduate Association
Spring 2016 Elections for UA President and Vice President as well as all
the officers for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Class Councils.  Attached here are
the election packets with all the information and key dates for candidates.

The statement of candidacy, a platform, and signatures are due on *February
26 at 5:00pm.  No campaigning can occur until February 26th at 5pm.  *From
then on, campaigning is allowed, but the official candidates will not be
released until *February 27th*.

There will be a debate held during the second week of campaigning for the
office of UA President and Vice President.  More information is to follow.

Voting will open at vote.mit.edu on *Monday, March 14th at 8am*.  Voting
will conclude on *Friday, March 18th at 5pm.*  Winners will be
announced on *Saturday,
March 19th.*

This is a really exciting way to become involved in the UA, and I encourage
everyone to consider running.
