Dear Undergraduates,
We have two exciting launches to announce this week!
The It’s On Us Informational Fair will be taking place on Wednesday 2/3, from 11:30am - 2:30pm in the Bush Room.
Lean On Me, an anonymous peer support network through text, will be launching tomorrow.
Please see below for additional information. We encourage you to attend the It’s On Us fair for information and resources, and to look into Lean On Me as a new student-lead support service on campus.
Additionally, through the Resilience Project, we are continuing to share Stories and Portraits of Resilience in The Tech. Sally Lee’s inspiring story, shared last week, can be read here <http://tech.mit.edu/V135/N38/resilience.html>. If you are interested in participating, contact us at ResilienceProject at mit.edu.
Hope you have a wonderful first day of Spring Semester!
Best,
Tamar Weseley and Alice Zielinski

It’s On Us Informational Fair
Wednesday 2/3 from 11:30am - 2:30pm in the Bush Room
February is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. To kick it off there will be an It's On Us informational fair with **lunch and free swag** included! The fair is organized by VPR and student activists and will be hosted by a mixture of undergrad and grad student organizations, along with various MIT support resources.
We encourage you to stop by to learn more about resources at MIT, ways to get involved, and information about Sexual Assault, Intimate Partner Violence, Stalking, and Sexual Harassment. It's On Us!
Lean On Me
Let's have a conversation! Text anything you'd like to talk about to (646) 798-4121 <tel:%28646%29%20798-4121>.
Lean On Me <http://lean0n.me/>'s anonymous peer support network is launching tomorrow. On the other end of the line are volunteer Peer Supporters: your classmates. If you want to become a Peer Supporter, take 4 minutes and apply <http://lean0n.me/#supporters>. If you are passionate about friendly, open conversation, we would love to have you join our team. Coders, feedback, and non-technical helpers are always welcome! Send us an email at leanonme-exec at mit.edu <mailto:leanonme-exec at mit.edu>. Heartfelt poetry will too be accepted, and featured on our Facebook page <http://facebook.com/lean0n>.
Let's power through the Spring semester together!
