[UA] Drop Date Is Today: Some Important Notes

Dear Undergraduates,

I hope all is well.

Please remember that the deadline to drop classes is today by 11:59PM.

Please note the following:

1. You must complete the final step of submitting to the Registrar for an Add/Drop to be completed. Every year, the Committee on Academic Performance has to approve many Late Drop applications (which cost $50) because students forget this final step. I highly encourage you to check your online add/drop form<http://web.mit.edu/registrar/reg/add-drop.html> and verify that you have completed this final step.

2. If it appears in your Current Registration, you have not dropped the class. Unless you started the process to drop the class today, it should be reflected in your Current Registration. Please check your current registration<https://student.mit.edu/cgi-bin/shrwssor.sh> to make sure that there are not classes listed that should not be there.

3. Enjoy the next month - drop that class that is giving you serious problems, or that you do not enjoy. Unless it is required for graduation, just why??? Spend the extra hours in your week doing things that you enjoy doing. Fill out an online add/drop form today<http://web.mit.edu/registrar/reg/add-drop.html>!
