* THE RED FLAG CAMPAIGN *
Dear Undergrads,
UA Student Support and Wellness in conjunction with Violence Prevention and
Response (VPR) in MIT Medical, launched The Red Flag Campaign at MIT to
raise awareness of intimate partner violence (IPV), otherwise known as
relationship abuse.
Relationship abuse is defined as a repetitive pattern of behaviors to
maintain power and control over an intimate partner. Abuse is a spectrum of
violence and includes verbal, emotional, physical, psychological,
financial, or sexual abuse. For more information, visit redflag.mit.edu
On Thursday October 29th at 7:30pm in room 4-237, we will be holding a
panel of VPR staff members to discuss healthy relationships, warning signs
of violence in relationships, and how to help a friend. Insomnia Cookies
and Mike’s Pastries will be provided!
Thank you,
Alice & Tamar
