Dear undergraduates,
What would you do if you could do anything? What stops us; what makes us?
>From curiosity to idea to execution, through the best of times and the hardest of times, screw ups and scale ups, across the whole spectrum of innovation, the UA Innovation Committee serves to support you, your ideas, and your growth as you dare to change the world.
True innovation comes when students have open access to resources, knowledge, financing, and spaces, in a culture of play, hacking, and giving things a go, and within a diverse community that both challenges and fosters. That is our vision. We work with everyone - individual students, groups, administrators, the greater community, industry, and governments - over timescales of days to decades, considering everything from cafés to libraries to makerspaces, grants to competitions to venture capital, academic programs to international experiences, to tackle the toughest otherwise underserved challenges.
Join the UA Innovation Committee! We are still growing our capacity and would love to work with all who are interested. Just e-mail us<mailto:ua-innovation at mit.edu> and let's talk! There is no form to fill out, and no application to worry about - just say hello and let's see what we can make happen.
Be bold!
Regards - and have a wonderful week,
Malte Ahrens '17
