Undergraduates,

An opportunity has arisen to become an undergraduate member of the
Committee on Discipline. Before applying, you are encouraged to read the
attached primer and check out the COD website <http://cod.mit.edu/>. When

The desired qualities to be a successful member on the committee include
being open-minded, judicious, having very strong interpersonal and
communication skills, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality,
ability to think and operate effectively in emotionally charged situations,
and a history of ethical decision-making and positive behavior.

All applications submitted before *this Tuesday, September 15 at 11:59 pm*
will be considered, after which the application form will be closed. After
initial application review, select undergraduates will have interviews with
the nominations board. If you have any questions about this process, please
