[UA] Let's Just Talk: A Student-Faculty Mixer

Dear Undergraduates,


In the past few months, a number of students and faculty alike have
expressed a desire to interact more with one another outside of the
pressures and expectations of the classroom. With this in mind, the UA
Education Committee is excited to invite you to *Let's Just Talk: A
Student-Faculty Mixer. *


*Let's Just Talk *is an informal event and a great opportunity to get to
know faculty and other students from a wide variety of disciplines and
backgrounds. And even though your workload may not suggest it, your
professors are people too, and interesting ones at that! There is no set
plan for discussion, so feel free to talk about anything from the MBA
playoffs to mental health and wellness on campus. Or find out
what college was like for your professors back in their day. Hopefully this
event will open the channels for honest communication between students and
faculty, and we hope to hold more events like this in the future.

Entering the final few weeks of the semester, we're all pretty hosed, but
we hope you can take a short break from the studying and the psetting and
the group-projecting, and stop by for a few minutes and enjoy some good
food and better company.
