How to Start a Startup -- taught by Sam Altman

Sam Altman, President of Y Combinator, will be teaching a class at Stanford
this fall on How to Start a Startup.
The MIT UA Innovation Committee will be organizing sessions from* 9pm-10pm
on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2-105* to watch the videos of these lectures.
We’ll brainstorm ideas, bounce them off each other, and refine them over
the course of the semester.
The first class is *Tuesday, 9/23*
Along with guest lecturers like Marissa Mayer, Peter Thiel, and Ben
Horowitz, Sam will be covering the fundamentals: how to come up with ideas
and evaluate them, how to get users and grow, how to do sales and
marketing, how to hire, how to raise money, company culture, operations and
management, business strategy, and more.
