Dear Undergraduate Community:
This is a quick note to inform you of important details regarding the
timeline for the Residential Life Area Director (RLAD) selection process.
On Monday, July 2nd, the Division of Student Life (DSL) posted a job
description for the RLAD position and a timeline for the RLAD selection
process on its Residential Life and Dining website. The timeline indicates
that five dorms—Maseeh Hall, McCormick Hall, New House, Next House, and
Simmons Hall—will have RLADs in the Fall, and that students, GRTs, and
Housemasters from these each of these dorms will be involved in the
selection process which is set to commence in the week of July 15th. For
more details please see the link below:

The UA & DormCon will continue to work with the Chancellor and Deans to
respond to student concerns on this issue and ensure full community
engagement. If you have any questions about the process, please get in
touch with your dormitory president, or reach out to the UA/DormCon team at
residential-support-feedback at mit.edu.
Thank you for your time,
Jonté Craighead
