Spring Weekend Concert 2010: Contest Deadline EXTENDED

Hey MIT!

First, tickets for the 2010 Spring Weekend Concert are still selling 
online! Sales are open to all of MIT and local college students, and can 
be purchased at http://sao.mit.edu/tickets/2010/springconcert. Tell your 
friends. :)

Next, based upon a sizable number of requests, we've decided to extend 
our Mashup Euphoria THROUGH THE WEEKEND. The final deadline will be at 
midnight on Tuesday, April 6th. So, keep the music coming! Remember, all 
student compositions are welcome and encouraged. Voting will begin 
immediately afterward on April 7th so be sure to support your favorite 
artists with at least a vote per day. Check out 
http://springweekend.mit.edu/ and listen to the submissions thus far! Do 
you want to participate but find yourself stuck on where to begin? Check 
out resources such as http://www.paintingbynumbers.com/bootcamp/ and 
http://gsn.k12.oh.us/Westfall/HS/ITL/Mashup/lesson.htm for help.

Finally, keep your eyes (and ears) open for more Spring Weekend 
contests. There are still and prizes to be given out. Check the Tech and 
WMBR for your chance to win free tickets!
