UA President / Vice President Petition Extension to March 4

Fellow undergraduates,

The UA Election Commission only received a single petition to run for UA 
President and Vice President last week. In the spirit of fostering a 
competitive race, the Election Commissioner has extended the UA 
President and Vice President petition deadline to *Thursday, March 4 at 
5PM*. The forms that are required to run are available at 
http://web.mit.edu/elections/current/Spring_2010_UAP_Packet.doc

Serving as UA President this past year has been one of the most exciting 
and rewarding opportunities that I have had at MIT and I hope that you 
will consider joining the race. Given the continuing budget cuts that 
MIT will face next year, it is essential that the Undergraduate 
Association has strong leadership to ensure that the student voice is 
heard on important matters being discussed such as moving add/drop date, 
changing the house dining plan, and adjustments to summer housing on-campus.
