Hello again undergrads,

The Baker Foundation is looking for two long term members. The Foundation
focuses on funding student activities and works on initiatives throughout
campus. Please find more information about the Foundation below if you think
you might be interested.

Have a great weekend,
Maggie

The Everett Moore Baker Foundation is an institute committee serving to
promote the interests of the late Dean Everett Moore Baker. He was a strong
supporter of extracurricular activities, student life, and international
connections. The Foundation allocates funding towards student activities,
funds IAP and Summer Baker Fellows - students participating in international
development work, works on initiatives throughout campus (now focusing on
the Visual Arts initiative - which will soon be giving free studio art time
to the campus on weekends through the SAA), and works to publicize our
interests through our annual report. More information can be found on our
website - http://web.mit.edu/baker-foundation/www/

The Baker Foundation is looking for a historian and treasurer. The Historian
maintains the records of the Baker Foundation, such as Baker Fellow reports,
information on past and current members, and
Annual Reports. The Treasurer leads the setting of the Baker Foundation's
annual budget and processes the Foundation's money where applicable.

If you are interested in applying, please respond directly to
baker-foundation at mit.edu. Please reflect on the two questions listed below.
They will be discussed during the application process (Note: do not include
these answers in your email.)

Why are you interested in the Everett Moore Baker Memorial Foundation? What
is a need on campus that you would be interested in addressing?
