*Detailed Event Description*
*On behalf of the Martin Luther King Jr. Design Seminar, our Haiti
Relief Diversity Dinner will be held THIS Wednesday, February 10, from
5:30-7:30pm in Morss Hall of Walker Memorial. Admission is free, but
donations are highly recommended.
This FREE Dinner will be primarily an opportunity for the MIT community
to sample and taste entrees and desserts from regions of the planet that
they may not be familiar with. Participating students groups include the
Arab Students Association, Casino Rueda, LUChA, the MIT Muslim Students
Association, Mujeres Latinas, and more! We look forward to seeing you there!
This activity is aimed at both celebrating diversity within our campus
and demonstrating MIT's innate capacity for supporting those that are
less fortunate. In order to do so, we are donating to the Haitian Relief
Fund through Partners in Health from donations made by event attendees.
We would like to invite you to join us in this wide appreciation of
different cultures.
If your student group would still like to participate, feel free to
contact us at mlkdinner at mit.edu <mailto:mlkdinner at mit.edu>*
