Fall Festival: Russell Peters Tickets on Sale + End of Voting

Hi all,

If you haven't yet heard, comedian RUSSELL PETERS is coming to MIT!    
The performance will take place at 8:00pm on Friday, October 3rd in  
MIT's Kresge Auditorium as part of the UA Events Committee Fall  
Festival.

A special pre-sale for MIT students began, Wednesday, September 17th.   
Ticket sales will open to students of other area institutions on  
Monday, September 22nd.  Seating is limited, so be sure to buy early!   
MIT student tickets will be available for $15 apiece, and all other  
tickets for MIT faculty, staff, alumni, and non-MIT students will be  
sold for $25.  Guest tickets may be purchased at $25 apiece, limit of  
two guests per MIT student.  Guests must be escorted by an MIT  
affiliate the night of the show.

Russell Peters’ comedy focuses on his Canadian upbringing and racial  
stereotypes, parodying his parents and South Asian culture.  Widely  
known for actively engaging his audiences, Russell often talks to  
individuals and makes remarks at or about them.  Russell began  
performing in Canada and has since sold out shows at London’s Shaw  
Theatre, the Apollo Theatre in New York, and Madison Square Garden.   
Never having performed on American TV networks, Russell’s YouTube  
videos have been viewed by over 6 million individuals.  Russell is  
currently working on a sitcom for FOX.
