The Awards Convocation Nominations Deadline has been extended to
FRIDAY, MARCH 21st

So if you haven't had the time to think about nominating faculty,
staff, students or student organizations you have another week in
which to do so.

We're looking to you to get the word out about nominations for the
2008 Awards Convocation!
-- Launch a campaign !
-- Get signatures for your nomination letters !

Nominating is easy....
--Show your support of a student, student organization, faculty or
staff by submitting a personal nomination letter signed by you, or
turn it up a notch and submit a nomination letter signed by many
supporters.

Don't hold back... we've even seen full-blown campaigns for nominees
in the past!

Here's how:
-- Browse the awards descriptions at http://web.mit.edu/awards/
-- Submit a nomination by Friday, March 21st, by email to
<awards at mit.edu> or by interoffice mail to room W20-549

We're presenting over 30 awards this year, so there are plenty of
ways to recognize your favorite professors, students, and virtually
anyone at MIT that deserves some applause.
