[Technique] PHOTO OP, TONIGHT- Officer Collier Vigil

Hey all,

This is a REALLY important photo opportunity. From what I understand, the
moment of silence is at 10:20, so it would be a good idea to show up no
later than 10PM.

If you choose to photograph this event, please be mindful of the sensitive
nature of this event and try to take pictures of the vigil as a whole
instead of focusing on individuals. (Basically, respect the mourners'
privacy).

I will be in the office to check out equipment for you/give you film (if
you're so inclined) by 6:30 (I hope...).

Announcement on the MIT Police website:
"On Friday October 18th the Officer Collier Memorial Committee has
scheduled two events to honor and remember Sean on this 6th month
anniversary. The first event will be held in at 7:30 AM at the Main St and
Vassar St. site. Here we will unveil a temporary stone to remember Sean
until the permanent memorial is in place. We will also lay some flowers and
an American Flag(s). At 10:20 PM we will hold a candle light vigil to
remember Sean at the exact time he was taken from us, also at Main St and
Vassar St."
