Hi Staph!

*Do you want to get more involved with Technique and get perks like free
printing, a listing in the back of the book, and a key to the equipment
cabinet? *

If so, read the whole spiel below (the length is relative to its
importance):

The time of Yearbook making is beginning, which means that Technique needs
your help to make a beautiful book. This Saturday, October 20th, an hour
before our weekly meeting we will be holding fall elections for Jr.
Manboard positions (and one Manboard position too). *Being Jr. Manboard
gives you a few perks--you get free printing on the large format printer, a
*listing* in the back of the book, and a vote in the Senior Manboard
elections in the spring. *

As a Jr. Manboard, you will work directly with one of the Senior Manboard
members, learn how Technique works, and help them out when things (read:
schoolwork) make them slightly distracted from other Technique
responsibilities. Think of these elections similar to a matching process;
we want you to be working with one of our Senior manboard directly rather
than floundering around and getting lost in the club.

*We also have one Senior Manboard position available this fall -- Journal
and Literature Editor**. *Senior manboard gets the same perks as Jr.
Manboard, AND gets a key to the equipment cabinet (YEP you can check out
your own cameras, it is great!). This position will be more of a
time commitment, but if it sounds interesting to you we are looking for
someone to fill the role!

If you are interested in any of the positions (listed below) come to the
elections this Saturday at 12:00PM (Senior Manboard members vote, but you
can lobby for yourself). *If you are planning to run please respond to
this email (to only me) with the position you are considering**. *If you
can't make it, send me a blurb about you saying why you want the position. You
can run for multiple positions if they sound interesting, but let us know
which one you would prefer. Listed in parenthesis after the Jr. Manboard
positions is the name of our Senior Manboard--if you really want the
position you should let them know and ask them any questions you may have!

And now the positions:
*Senior Manboard--Journal and Literature Editor*

section.

the book.

*Responsible for promoting the use of film in the club, and

for use in the book.

*Sports Editor *(under Greg Kuperman, gregk at mit.edu)
*Responsible for making sure we get photographs of every Varsity sport, and

*Publicity Editor *(under Hayley Song, hjsong at mit.edu)

position(s) and show up at 12:00pm this Saturday.

Thanks,
Jenelle
