Today, there will be a chess tournament in the Student Center. If you 
have some time, or you're a new member that's getting a camera today, 
please stop bay and take a few shots.

Join the MIT Chess Club for our first event of the year.

*When*: Sunday, September 9, from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm

*Where*: W20 (Student Center) Private Dining Rooms 1 and 2

*Details*:

  * This tournament is meant for players of all levels, from beginners
    to Grandmasters. Our pairings system will match players against
    others of similar strength.
  * This tournament is unrated. No United States Chess Federation
    membership necessary.
  * The tournament will consist of four games with a G/30 time control
    and 5-second delay.
  * Bring your own clock if you have one. Otherwise, there will be
    extras available.
  * There will be free food!
  * Please arrive on time (11:00 am)
