[Grogospeak] Welcome to Technique (first meeting tomorrow at 1pm!)

Hi there,

Thanks for expressing interesting in Technique.  We're the photography,
design, and yearbook club of MIT.  Our club is pretty casual; we have
regular meetings on Saturdays with free food and drinks, but these are not
required at all.  Technique staff members can borrow photographic
equipment, use our computers, and develop film in our darkroom during
meetings or on their own time.  In the fall we hold informal seminars
during meetings to teach basic digital and film photographic techniques.
 Check out our website, technique.mit.edu, for a schedule.  Through the
semester we'll be emailing about the many photographic opportunities around
campus such as events, sports, living groups, etc.

Our first meeting is tomorrow, *September 1st at 1PM*. Please stop by and
check out our office in *W20-451* (http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=W20).  We'll
be ordering sushi for everyone!

Right now you're subscribed to tnq-grogospeak at mit.edu, our general interest
mailing list. If you show up and talk to us, we'll add you to
tnq-staph at mit.edu starting the Saturday after tomorrow.  Once you're on
that list your're basically a full staff member.

If you have any questions, free feel to email me or the managing board at
technique at mit.edu.  We also hold office hours on Wednesday evenings.
