Hey Technique,

The MIT $100k Competition is holding its first contest, the Elevator Pitch
Competition, this week. The Elevator Pitch Competition (or EPC for short)
challenges participants to deliver a succinct business idea ("elevator
pitch") in 60 seconds or less before a panel of judges. The EPC is a truly
fast-paced, high-energy event. Based on our reputation, we would love for
Technique to take photos for us! (For the most part, we're hoping to
acquire professional-quality photos for promotional purposes -- although
obviously we'd love it if you end up including us in the Technique yearbook
as well.)

Our biggest need is a photographer for Thursday night at our Finale Show
from 6-9pm in 32-123. We were hoping that a photographer can cover our VIP
reception, the crowd gathering before the show, the audience / stage during
the show, and our award ceremony (with the obnoxiously large checks). It
should be a fairly straightforward operation for you guys.

We are also having preliminary competitions on Tuesday and Wednesday from
5:30-8pm (in E51) -- covering those would be great if possible, but not
quite as high priority.

For compensation, we're offering $100 plus a $100k vest for the finale, and
$50 for each preliminary night.

If you're interested in taking photos of the EPC, please let me know, and
I'll get you in touch with the lead organizers. Thanks so much!

Sincerely,
Paul
(EPC Webmaster / Token Undergrad)
