Since you're new to Technique... let me be clear: IAP is the craziest time
of the year for us. Now is the time to come visit if you haven't been in
for a while (or at all), or to come get more involved and get crazy like us
if you want!
People will be in the office basically every day of IAP, mostly afternoons
and nights but all day long on the weekends. We'll be ordering food more
often than once a week. We need you to come bring in your film, develop it,
and help print yours and others photos for the book! We should get most
film in before the half-way point in the month so we'll be able to include
it in section layouts.
Just giving you guys the heads up... the office will be active 300 hours
over the next month, starting the first week of IAP, and we'll have time to
teach you anything you want to learn, and give out lots of film.

Also, don't forget about the photo contests. The deadline is New Years Day,
but if you let us know ahead of time that you have a submission but wont
have it in for a week, that's ok!

Finally, if any of you have sports pics you want to get in, hurry up! That
section will close only a couple days after IAP starts. In fact, if you
have sports pics you didn't return to the office yet, send me an email (I'm
Sports Editor too) so I can be sure to leave a space for you!
